So I'll start by saying I have seen an nhs physio for this and I am going again next month, I have also contacted a private physio and hoping to get an app as I feel there is more going on
About a year ago I started with some sciatica, down my right leg, it was sudden, for about 2 weeks I suffered then it kind of eased away. I was running 15/20 a week at the time so linked it to that and took it easy, occasionally getting mild sciatica but nothing that stopped me doing daily tasks. In July I had a bad flare where I couldn't walk properly. I couldn't figure out how to walk without serious pain, it kind of eased on and off for a week. Since then I'd be fine for ages then get a bad shooting down my leg and my right knee would feel like it had some sort of brace around it, my knee was sore. Id also get occasional mild lower back pain, like right at the bottom. Looking online symptoms suggested to me a prolapsed disc. I saw a physio in January (had to wait ages due to covid) who said I have some sort of hip/quad weakness and gave me some exercises. She said it was hard to tell as I wasn't having a flare at the time but she didn't think it linked to my back and said she thought a few strength exercises would sort it.
2 weeks ago I was in immense pain, my lower back all round my pelvis just felt tight and stiff and I had shooting pains down my right leg round to the outside of my knee and calf and had pain at my hip to. Walking was so painful and getting up and down off my chair at work felt really hard, like I had to use my arms to help me get up. Again it's taken time and eased off but I've got this lingering calf pain which feels like a pulled muscle. I want a scan of some sort on my lower back/pelvis but I feel like I won't be given one. I'm only 30 and don't want a lifetime of this problem
Sorry this is so long but any ideas welcome, please be kind
