My DP is 58, hasn't smoked tobacco or weed for nearly 8 years. Was an alcoholic but no alcohol for nearly 7 years. Is diabetic type 2 and is on anti depressants. He works.

In the last couple of weeks he's lost his house key. Found in the car as he had taken his key with him, I was in the house at the time, he only went to the car to fiddle with his radio.

Lost the ham. It was in a plastic box and he remembered making a sandwich but couldn't find it to put back in the fridge. He said he looked everywhere even blaming the cat who is on a diet of nicking it, and the plastic box, it was found in the cutlery drawer.

Last Monday he genuinely thought it was Sunday and today after picking his car up after it had been in the garage for repair it appears he's put petrol in a diesel car.

On top of that he forgot to take his phone with him so when he needed to contact me he had to go into a shop to ring the landline and I had to go back out across town to give him his phone. Forgetting his phone is not a new thing but extremely annoying.
