Anyone else had an awful hacking dry cough. Keeps me awake at night. Have done numerous LFT but all negative. Thought I was getting a cold but it’s not materialised.

You should get a pcr for a cough
I'd probably risk just ltfs now for other non key symptoms (eg runny nose) but not a dry hacking cough that's a key covid symptom .

I did think about it but my sense of smell and taste haven’t gone and I don’t feel ill.

Loss of taste and smell actually aren't as common with Omicron. The government says on its website that high temp, cough, and loss of taste and smell, are the cardinal signs in order to book a PCR. This does not reflect the new variant, but you still need to tick it to access a PCR.

I'm covid day 5 at the moment, and started with sore throat, headache, fatigue, and funny feeling skin. Now I have blocked nose, fatigue, and cough - it's a joy!
