Piles Constipation possible rectal prolapse

I’ve suffered with piles on and off for over 22 years. Recently I feel like I need a bowel movement but nothing happens but I can feel a soft lump when I’m straining. Could it be a rectal prolapse or internal piles ? I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy 2 years ago would this have picked up anything else apart from piles? It feels uncomfortable when I’m sitting and I can feel something when I’m in bed lying on my back

It is possibly a prolapse but you need to go to your GP and be examined or get a referral to a specialist. We cannot diagnose.
