Chronic constipation - laxido

I’ve been prescribed laxido by the gp. Have suffered with constipation for years - I can go almost 2 weeks without having a poo and then I’ll pass little hard balls. It’s awful.

Anyway I started on the laxido - 2 sachets a day. Instantly filled with wind and felt bloated. It had the desired effect after 2 days and I passed many big soft poos in one day. Since then I’ve been pretty regular but still feel bloated and windy. When does this pass or will I always feel like this whilst taking this medication?

Your bowels are "working" regularly after not so you will be windy . Take 1 sachet instead of 2 see if it makes a difference

Laxido are pretty good. I take one before bed, but not everyday. Other laxatives give me bad stomach pains from around 3 am until I get up. Most do give you wind I’m afraid, but you get this with eating more brain foods anyway.
