wait til you add a shedload of children to your membership . . . next gen is a bit of a family type place, related to david lloyd I think

PopTastic · 31/12/2007 20:03

£118 per month....and not one of use ever goes..... just doing the budget for next year and this is definitely going. Really is a waste of money unless each person goes at least 3 times a week.

PopTastic · 31/12/2007 20:04

'us' even!

ticks · 31/12/2007 20:06

we pay a joint membership of £70 ish for Total Fitness. But children are only £10 a year so works out really cheap for swimming

Vacua · 31/12/2007 20:10

next gen v annoying that under 6 yr olds only £10 a month and masses of activities but over 6's about (I think) £30? and very few classes/events for them

anyway am also cancelling as have lost about 394 stone since I stopped going

CarGirl · 31/12/2007 20:12

I@m in surrey, £35 per month, no pool, no classes just a decent gym with associated facilities

chonky · 31/12/2007 20:12

I get a corporate discount through work, so not quite as bad as £65. Plus I'm training for the FLM08, so I think I'm allowed .

Vacua · 31/12/2007 20:13

was important for me to have indoor/outdoor pools and that they had no deep end, deep end gives me heebie-jeebies with small children - also tennis etc., tho that is EXTRA

beautifulsnowydays · 31/12/2007 20:20

flippin eck!

it was only £20 a month the last time i went near a gym...
