Rosacea / Rudolph nose

Hi, I’m 40 y/o female and have a really red nose which has been diagnosed as some sort of rosacea. It’s also quite wide and bulbous which I think is genetic. It is making me really self conscious. I’ve had 2 different types of cream prescribed by the doctor but neither made a difference. Anyone recommend anything?

Start applying for festive jobs now?
Sorry op!!
My dm used to use green cream to cover redness before foundation. Not sure if that is still a thing.

Ha, yes the green cream thing is still a thing!! Have tried it but would like to cure the problem, not just mask it :(

Was it Rosex cream you got? It can take a couple of months to work. You could ask to be referred to a dermatologist or pay privately to see one.

Soolantra cream?

The creams take quite a few months to work. Persevere.
Always use a long lasting sun cream on your face - one that lasts all day.
Rosalique will help to disguise it.
Then foundation and powder over the lot.
Avoid alcohol, coffee and windy weather if you can.
If you have a IPL at home you can try that too.

Did your GP suggest an antibiotic?
