Can this be anything other than lymphoma?

I've had a slight pain under arm since Xmas but in last week or so it's got quite uncomfortable and have now got pain in glands in groin too. Saw gp on Wednesday and had bloods done Thursday but over weekend I've been a bit itchy all over and uncomfortable bottom of chest on left. I'm beyond tired and have convinced myself it's not going to be good news. Haven't told anyone anything except I've been for blood test and just want to climb into bed and stay there but no choice but to carry on as have teenagers to run about etc.

Firstly sorry you are poorly. Your symptoms could literally be anything, lymphoma is a huge jump, why did that pop into your head? Any other symptoms, night sweats, weight loss, etc? The lump could be a cyst, an inflammation, literally anything. The waiting for results is worse than the results themselves I think. Hope you get good news.

Lymphoma does not typically cause painful lymph nodes

They would be very swollen and non tender

I know but unfortunately I googled and it's always the first thing, I was taking comfort from the lack or sweats and not lost any weight but then panicked again. The pain on left side seems to be adding to my stress. I'm just so ridiculously tired I can't be sensible about it.

I have had 3 massive lymph nodes removed over the years, along with similar symptoms to you, and none of them have been lymphoma.

It seems once I have had a bad infection in the body my lymph nodes struggle to go back to normal. It could really be nothing at all.

Itching could be perimenopause, dermatitis etc........
