Taking medication with food - how do you remember?

I have medication that needs to be taken with/after food and I am always forgetting it.

Does anyone have any good strategies for remembering? I don’t have a very consistent routine about when/where I eat.

Could you place the medication in the kitchen say next to the fridge or kettle where you will see it? Or set alarms on your phone for the approximate times you should take it?

Agree with a PP - set phone alarms

I keep my vitamin capsules in the bread bin, as I eat at least one slice every day.

(Though maybe not a good idea if you have young children, of course)

Either keep it where I will be eating or next to where the meal will be prepared or with the food. Set a recurring phone reminder to put it with that day's food if your habits are erratic.

It can help if you take it at a consistent point in the meal. Then you start to remember you are supposed to be taking something.
