Hello. I’m not sure if this is in the right section but I am desperate for advise. I got cough that turned into a horrible cold about 2/3 weeks ago. I usually get over colds very quickly but this one just wanna not going away. Then 4 days ago I woke up with awful pain in my sinuses. Ever since I have been in constant agony! Barely sleeping, constant snot still, breathing mostly ok but the pain THE PAIN! It’s so unbearable! I feel like I have been punched in the face. My nose hurts, my eyes hurt and teeth hurt, my whole head hurts! The pressure is so bad! I can barely function. I am about 8 weeks pregnant and I can’t take anything for it accept paracetamol which does not do much 😞. I was taking lemsip but was told by the GP I should stop as it can damage the baby! 😣 I have a saline spray and a steroid spray but I do f think they are doing anything. I feel like I am never going to get better. The GP prescribed some antibiotics but said they don’t work if it’s not a bacterial infection and there is no way of knowing. I don’t want to take them if I don’t have to. I wish I could have some ibuprofen and codeine. Paracetamol helps but just a bit and I’m only taking one now and really trying to spread it out as I read paracetamol in early pregnancy can interfere with baby’s brain development. I am considering termination now as I just can’t go in with this pain anymore. It feels like it’s never going to end. I am neglecting by 5 year old and leaving all the child care to her dad as I mostly can’t get out of bed. To top it off have stated to get morning sickness too. I just want this all to be over. 😭
