What's wrong with my throat?

Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar to this?

For the past couple of years I've noticed that when I'm eating sometimes food has started to get stuck right at the very top of my throat/back of my mouth and I have to have a drink or eat something else to get it down. This isn't every time I eat but often enough for me to notice.

Also over the past couple of years I now constantly seem to have globs of phlegm (sorry!) in my throat that I need to cough to release.

I've now noticed that when I intentionally swallow the front of my throat (kind of under my chin) 'clicks' and I can feel my throat/neck, it feels a bit strained. This is the only way I can describe it really.

I've now got some pain on the front of my throat/under my chin - it just feels a bit sore when I touch the skin on the outside. I think this might be from my seatbelt digging into me after we had a bit of a scare in the car this week so I'm not too worried about this - but this has been the catalyst for me suddenly worrying about all of these symptoms as I'm not 100% sure.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I will make a GP appointment but would be great to hear in the mean time as my anxiety has skyrocketed a bit!

Just to add, I've had no sore throat/cold symptoms.

Could it be tonsil stones maybe?
