Weird Palm mole

Has anyone ever had a mole on their palm? I didn’t think it was even possible to get one there. It’s new I think but then I don’t spend much time looking at my palm. (I will be seeing GP anyway).

Are you sure that is a moleand not a pin prick?

You can get moles on the palms your hands and soles of your feet but it is unusual.

It's a good idea to get it checked out because it is a new mole in an unusual place. There is a type of melanoma that is found on palms, soles and nails. It's probably nothing but it's always important to get new/unusual moles checked out.

Sorry to be stupid, but what’s a pinprick? Not sure what it is exactly. I’ve been trying to figure out if it meets ABCDE for moles. I will go to GP next week

I have one similar on the heel of my thumb.

Literally a pin prick, @Wibblewibblewobble! A tiny puncture or pinch wound. It looks a little like blood.

Regardless, get it checked out. Hope all is fine.

I had one of these come up on the palm of my hand, I thought it was a freckle.
Stayed for about 10 years and now it's disappearing again. Hardly visible now.

I've had a mole on my palm Noticed it in my childhood, my mum even tried to scrub my hands thinking I somehow hadn't washed properly. She soon realised it wasn't budging and was in fact a mole. Over the years it has faded. It's pretty well disappeared now.

My DD has a mole on the palm of her hand. Not big, but it is cute. (She is 14, she hates me saying its cute)

Your mole looks blurry round the edge, I would get it checked out. Probs nothing but best to check
