3 months after having my ds, I started suffering from aches and pain in my joints and muscles all over my body. Now my baby is 6 months old but aches and pain still continue. I don't know what to do. Anybody experienced something like this?

Yes, I put it down to
second baby
poor posture
poor sleep
picking up two heavy children...

DS is my first baby and he has always been a bit big. He is already 10 kg (over 98 centile) and wears 12-18 months clothes. Maybe this is the reason but even my fingers ache isn't that too much? And shouldn't my body adjust to a heavy baby? I mean when you go to gym after a while your body aches for a few days and then your body gets used to excersize. Shouldn't this be the same?

I had this with DS who was very heavy at 10lb 4oz at birth. He is my third child and I don't recall feeling like that with DD1 and DD2. Also I'm that much older this time round of course. He's now 15months, and the aches and pains have improved somewhat although I still get them, as although he's walking I have to carry him around quite a lot.

yes, I have all kinds of aches and pains since having 3 DC, 8,6,2. However I have found the aches and pains diminish with exercise(when I can find time).

Do you find your joints are stiff in the morning and you take a while to get going?

Are the aches and pains roughly symmetrical ie. both hands, both wrists, both feet rather than one side or the other?

If so, it is worth making an appointment with your GP as some ladies get an inflammatory response after having a baby which can cause joint pains and swelling. It may involve a blood test to see what's going on, but it is worth it if it shows what is happening.
