Excessive thrist

My 15 year old dd has an excessive thirst and can't seem to quench it. She is not urinating frequently, goes 3/4 times a day.
Any ideas?

Diabetes?

GP.
They will probably see you quickly with those symptoms, as it is such a clear marker for diabetes and it is easily tested in surgery.

BUT without the urination, it may not be at all.
worth phoning straight away for advice.

How long has this been going on? It could be as the pp suggested diabetes or covid. I had this during covid and it last for 2 weeks. I would pee though, but my mouth felt really thirsty.

It's been going on for about 4-6 weeks on and off. She only told me this morning that she can't quench her thirst. I'll give the gp a ring.
