Mole removal and healing

Had a cherry angioma removed from my nose about 9 weeks ago. It was burnt off or “cauterised” and I thought it might be looking better by now. But if anything the scar seems to be getting redder rather than fading.

I’ve been watching loads of videos of people who’ve had moles removed and they all say it can take months to heal. I’ve been putting Vaseline on the scar but other than that letting it heal itself. I guess I’m just worried why the scar is getting redder. It’s not infected, I haven’t been picking at it. Any one been through this? Really need some positive stories….

I had one frozen on my forehead, but it became worse and worse . I went to a dermatologist who "corrected" it with laser scalpel.

Were you told to use Vaseline on it? It doesn't seem like the right thing to use to promote healing for me.

I had two moles taken off my face about 25 years ago and used this: www.pakuacosmetics.com/ you can barely see where the scars are.

Yes was told to use Vaseline on it everyday to keep it moist & promote healing which I have been doing
