So for context I am super unfit and obese.
On Friday I took the stairs as work, normally I might go up a couple of flights then grab the lift to try and get some steps in. The stairs in question are going to the fifth floor and contain about 20ish stairs per floor so I walked up approx 100 stairs. I also did this pretty quickly and once I got to the top I dropped off what was needed and came straight back down.
When I got down my legs felt weak and shaky - put it down to sudden exertion and the fact I had not eaten yet that day. This slowly went away.
Yesterday woke up and my calf muscles are so sore walking is painful to start with and going up and down the stairs hurts so much! There is no swelling or bruising. Once I get walking it eases a bit but still pulls it that makes sense. They also hurt just to touch that area on both legs. Had a bath last night and made she to pop some heat on them thinking they would be better by this morning.
This morning I've woken up and they are just as painful I guess they are not quite as painful to touch only if it has some pressure behind it but still agony to get down the stairs etc.
I'm not sure what to do. I thought I'd pulled the muscles but this seems a little extreme?
Any thoughts
