Children who snore - is it always A Bad Thing?

DD1 4.3 yo snores loudly for long periods of the night and has done for at least a year, can't remember.
Will she grow out of it or is this usually a sign that there's a problem with adenoids or whatever? It doesn't bother or wake her. However, i think it may have woken DD2 15mo up last night on her first night in big sisters room.

I don't know either they took out dd2 adenoids and she never snored that was for her glue ear. Dd1 snores and gets bad breathe they told me she probably has huge adenoids but would grow into them - shes nearly 11, Im still waiting!
