On my top lip, is a fetching "bubble" at the moment, but I know from experience that it will spread all over my top lip and up to my nose.

Nice

Don't panic!! My dh had one all over Christmas but he bought some of those invisible sticky things and they worked a treat! I can't remember the name of them at the moment though..sorry.

They stop the horrible scab forming and keep the area dry.

Damn it..can't believe i've forgotten the name...i'll text my dh and let you know.

Compeed cold sore patch.
I have a free trial pack in the cupboard. Haven't one since to test them out though!

Oh Thanks!
I am meeting up with some friends tomorrow and they are always so beautiful and groomed and the last thing I want is a balloon scabby lip!

TIA!

Compeed is brilliant stuff, it's expensive at around £6 but it works, it even stops the pain and itchiness .

Womba1 · 29/12/2007 15:02

Compeed...that's it!!!

They really are amazing and i didn't even know my dh had a cold sore!

You can even apply lippy over the top so you'll look gorgeously turned out!

Lizzylou · 29/12/2007 15:07

Lets hope so

I already have a burn on my forehead from my hair straighteners (new fringe )
and a bruise on my cheek from DS1's Playmobil Pirate ship (don't ask!).

Am feeling distinctly unattractive!

Keep it from drying out...lots of moisturiser. I use Iodine tincture from chemist in between vit E oil. Never get the blisters.

Don't kiss anyone as the virus will spread and once you have it you will always have it.
