Do the headaches ever end?
I was only diagnosed in October after mri and lumbar puncture for severe headaches.
Since then they come and go but at the moment its getting unbareable again, my tinnitus is absolutely screaming in my ears and my heads been pounding for the last 3 days straight.
Haven't been put on medication yet as consultant wanted me to loose weight first to see if it will relieve symptoms. (I've lost 30lbs so far but no change in symptoms)
Anyone else suffering with this? How to cope with the headaches?

I know this post was 3 weeks ago. I hope the symptoms have improved for you now. I heard someone say their headaches went away completely once they got below 12.5 stone so it is possible weight loss will get rid of it. Well done on losing 30 pounds. That’s fantastic x

I know this post was a while ago but I feel you. I was diagnosed in April 2021.. symptoms started in January 2021. They say the fluid is minimal now for me however despite that and despite me getting down to 11st 4 I am still getting symptoms. Was taken off the acetazolamide in January past and have felt rubbish ever since. Had a a check up 3 weeks ago - 1 consultant wanted to put me back on medication, the other said no.. and in the meantime I just suffer until next check up in July. At first nothing helped the horrific headaches.. but now I find that ibuprofen takes the edge off them. Well done on losing 30 pounds. I know it's a horrible & quite scary thing to live with but your doing great by the sounds of it. Keep going & hopefully we both get the all clear some day soon.

I had rebound intercranial hypertension following an epidural blood patch to fix a csf leak caused by a lumbar puncture. It's torture.

Avoid caffeine. Foods high in vitamin A. Any added salt. It makes a big difference. Also snacking on cucumber🤷‍♀️
