Still achy after colonoscopy

Had a colonoscopy on Tuesday, without sedation. I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone, it was very painful going round the bends. I’d read that the prep was the worst bit - I would beg to differ!

So, I was ok on Tuesday night and Wednesday, just gassy and bloated with minor pains.

4 days on and I’m still feeling very achy in the bowel, cramps and gripping type pains all over the colon area really. Not agonising, but nagging. Biopsies were taken, no polyps and I was given the all clear.

Anyone been through similar and still been in some pain after a few days?

Please don’t regale me of any horror stories of perforated bowel etc as I’ve already read it all online and I’m now scared shitless (pardon the pun).
Reassurance only please, and rest assured if it doesn’t ease I will be calling the hospital.
