Just wondered if anyone has had these before? I'm having my first lot next week and a bit nervous as to what to expect afterwards and how to feel.

Yeah I've had them a few times. It's a strange sensation, feels like a pressure rather than pain. The pressing they did to find the spots hurt more than the injection. Affterwards I felt a bit dizzy/ spaced out for a few mins. It takes a while for the local anaesthetic to wear off so there was a few hours where it was pain free in the back of my head and then it felt sore for a while afterwards.

Thank you for sharing your experience. How long did they last? My consultant has said I might need them every 2 weeks to keep on top of the pain.

Wasn't very successful for me as only lasted a few days so I gave up on them after a while. I think it really varies from person to person though and they last a number of weeks for some people.
