PID or something else?

I've been having on & off bleeding between my period for about 5 months now. Each month it's getting worse. The blood is becoming more red like a period and more often. I have also started to get pelvic pain with it this month too.

I contacted my gp who has advised me to get blood taken and to visit the gum clinic because he thinks I might have pelvic inflammatory disease which I'm aware is commonly caused from having an sti.
I am 100% certain I do not have any as I was checked about 6 months ago due to other problems. I have had the same partner for 7 years and neither of us have ever been with anyone else. I trust him 100%.
I did give birth 9 and half month ago, since having my son I have had BV once, and was also having this problem after where my wee would smell like detol hence the tests previously. They all came back clear except BV and the nurse said this could just be my new normal. Although since then the blended started.

I also had a smear test taken in august and that came back HPV positive but they don't want to se me until august this year.

Does anyone know if it could be anything else or what this may mean?
I do sometimes have pain during sex and TMI but today my down below is very sore like I wouldn't even be able to have sex.

I am booked in to the gum clinic on Thursday hopefully for some more answers.

With pelvic pain and bleeding like that, I would be requesting an ultrasound.

I'm going to the gum clinic on Thursday so hopefully I get some answers. If not I will definitely be requesting this
