What is are these bites from?

I'm at my sisters and was cuddling her dog. Soon after I had these marks appear up my arm which seemed to get worse pics taken 10 mins apart - very itchy.

Thought maybe fleas but don't look like typical flea bites. Any ideas?

They're just hives. No bites. Looks like you're slightly allergic to the dog.

Oh no! Thank you I did think it was strange. Such a shame because she's such a cuddly dog, will just have to keep my distance in future!
