Numb ear and cheek after sleeping on side

Hello
I woke up with a numb left ear and cheek. It went away quite quickly with the feeling of pins and needles. I suppose it was from sleeping on that side?
I have never experienced it before, although I sleep most of the time on each of my side. So that's why I thought I ask just in case that this happens all the time for other people and is normal? Got nothing to worry about?

It often happens to me! When I'm exhausted (frequently 😉) and 'flat out'.
Basically your body is staying in one position for too long. Nothing to worry about in the least 😄
