Hey

Does anyone have any experience of these.

My husband has suspected bladder stones.
Intermittent lower abdominal pain.
Last week was acute lower right side pain.
Blood in urine.
Lower back pain on and off.
UTI last week - sudden temp, sweating and fever.

Waiting on a scan but GP saying up to 6 wait.

DH was taken ill with these suffering severe lower abdominal cramps and pain whilst we were away on a short break about 5 yrs ago.
We ended up having to take him to the local A&E to get the cause of the pain diagnosed and treated, as we were about 80 miles from home at the time. He was also feeling feverish and spiking a temperature.
He was given painkillers and Antibiotics and sent back to our accommodation. He still was not well the following day, and he needed to get home and to our local GP, ASAP, so l rang our daughter, who drove down to collect him and return him to gain treatment.
What followed was a diagnosis of kidney stones and Bladder gravel, with Colic, which the GP said that the pain can be as severe as being in Labour. He was admitted to our local general hospital, and fitted with drainage tubes for Urine and a leg collection bag, which remained until after the gravel and blockages had been removed by ultrasound a few weeks later ( Lithotripsy)
He was fine in the end, it was a procedure which lasted over a few weeks with a catheter in place, but apart from a scar in his back, he’s no longer got and physical signs of the event!
