Post menopausal for reference as it's not cyclical.

Thanks.

Yes me. I'm 57, post menopausal 5 years.
I had a dull ache/stabbing pain in my left breast about 4 years ago and again last year. Each time it lasted for a few months.
I was referred (I went privately to the Spire) and had an exam, mammogram and ultrasound. All was fine and the consultant said it's quite common post menopause and that it would just go eventually, which it did.
Just wanted to put your mind at rest a bit. Definitely get it checked though.

@CollagenLady Hi, I know this is a really old thread but I found it whilst doing some searching. I have started with the same symptoms as you experienced, I've been in menopause for over a year and I've suddenly started with a burning sensation in my right breast. I just wondered what happened in your case. All the other posts I can find relating to this seem to be from people who are either pregnant or are breastfeeding. Hope things worked out OK for you.
