What could this have been?

Finished Covid isolation on Friday. Not been too bad, more like a heavy cold, bit of a cold. Went back to work on first day free, long shifts. Felt ok, not 100% but managed.

Got home last night and cough got worse. Had an hour where I felt tight chested, coughing ++, wheezing with audible crackles. Couldn't get enough air in. Became anxious too so I suspect that didn't help. Sats were fine, all my obs continue to be fine (NHS worker so I have a lot). Feel better this morning, slight cough, mainly tired and anxious about what happened.

What could it have been? An after effect of Covid? I do have an allergy to 'something' ?dust but that usually just gives me a very itchy nose/palate. Asthma attack? Can that develop in your thirties? Had peak flow done 10 years ago which was low but no comment made on it and my mum has also always had a low peak flow with no asthma. I've not had an episode like this before, but I have had occasional coughing fits after exercise.

Also I forgot to add it eventually cleared by itself when I opened my bedroom window and let fresh air in.
