My best friend's ds got them yesterday and my ds has been playing with him all week. Ds had something like the pox a while ago but dr wasn't sure so we'll have to wait and see. Dd isn't well at all she has a fever and feels sick, she's as white as a sheet. If ds does get it, it will be bloody typical because i'm planning a homebirth and this won't be able to happen plus ds and dd will have to be kept away from the baby when he's born. I had to ring the hospital yesterday because I have never had cp and at 38 weeks it would be incredibly dangerous for the baby but they tested me at the beginning of my prgnancy and thankfully i'm immune!

Our DS has had something too; I panicked but more likely an allergic reaction to something or mild viral infection. These things come when you just don't need them. Hope they get better and you have a good homebirth.

I've never had chicken pox, that might not be a good thing!
Ledodgy, good job you've had it, and good luck with your homebirth.
