For a about 10 days both thighs have been sore to touch so if someone pokes me it's tender . Knees aching and general aching in top half of legs . I am 43 and slightly overweight , we have a family history of blood clots so that is worrying me ! Tested for covid which is negative , is it worth a visit to GP ? I have had a little lower back pain and history of satica . Uncomfortable to sit with legs under me

Any changes in your daily routine over this time that could contribute to thigh ache? Walking more or anything? Do you get a sense if it’s settling or worsening over time?

Hi thanks for your reply . Not getting worse I had a couple of days of intense aching but then it settled to a niggle more in the knees , thighs tender to touch ie when cat digs paws into me ! I have a history in the family of deaths by blood clots but reassured it is not just in one leg. I was of course worried it was start of covid but negative tests. I have started taking Vit D and B12. I don't really want to bother the GP unless I have too.
