..im starting to panic as mine seems to be coming out in handfuls...is it because it iss now long and used to always be short and cropped or is it really gping to disappaear

i even notice that a guy i was seeing kept getting it in his mouth which seemed weird..to begin with i thought he was just sensitive to hair and thought he had a hair in his mouth but it seems to have happened each time i saw him

so am i just being neurotic or what

i heard that you loose about 100 strands a day.

last year i went through a faze for about 6 months where what seemed like clumps were coming out of my head when i brushed or washed my hair but i never had any bald patches or thin patches. i think its where i used to dye it so much because when i stopped dying it my hair stopped coming out as much

Are you BF or dieting?
I lost what I thought was shed loads whilst BF my second but the hairdresser said that because I had long hair, you notice it more.

The 100 strands a day is right but if you're BF or dieting, which can drain you of nutrients, your hair and nails will feel the lack first. Your hair could be limp and fall out more.

I noticed mine most when I applied the conditioner.

Could you take a supplement to give your body a boost?

I have lost a lot of weight (and hair!) recently, but I thought I was eating healtier, just to double check... how are the nails meant to look if you are loosing hair if you are not getting the nutrtion you need?

P.S. In the past it has helped to keep the conditioner away of the roots.

I recently did the Cambridge Diet (having just finished BF DS) so my body was shocked into starvation mode and also lost all of the nutrients I took in, went to feeding me and when that happens, your hair can fall out, nails go brittle and soft and skin pasty and flaky.

The diet tells you this can happen but when dieting and BF, your hair and skin often loses out.

As you've lost loads of weight recently, your body will have put all its energy into keeping you going, not your hair and skin.

My hair also stopped growing for the months I was on the diet. It's getting back to normal now but the dandruff is terrible.

thank you, nails are fine, at least
