Any ideas what this is???

DH had discomfort in tummy and back. Low down under belly button. It has now moved to lower right side abdomen and back, around his hip.
The pain is increasing. Started as a niggle 3 weeks ago.
I've rung 111 and waiting on a call back.
Could it be an appendicitis. Would it grumble grumble 3 weeks?!
No other symptoms.

I've no personal experience, but from reading on here people say its exacerbated by jumping up and down.

My dd has a grumbling appendix it flairs up from time to time but never turns into appendicitis. Basically it's lower stomach pain. Best to get it checked out though.
