Hello

Has anyone done a programme of medical cannabis? Can you share your experiences and dosage? Did it help?

Thanks

My cousin is a large scale grower in California, he was involved with the trials of medical cannabis and now sells huge quantities for medical usage. On the back of his research and papers, have used it, illegally, in the UK for treating my Carpel Tunnel and Arthritis, following dosing guidelines. I have tried CBD with little improvement. It works and has been transformative and miraculous. I am open about it now, and have discussed it with my Drs at length. I was very sceptical about my 'hippy' cousin but now 100% agree with him that the only reason it remains illegal and unlicensed for medical use is due to pressure from pharmacutical companies. I no longer use any painkillers at all, I have lost 4 stone and sleep 7 -8hrs every night. It has been utterly life changing. Other family members who use this product for medical reasons are: DM (70), DGM (98), and 3 Aunts 65, 78 and 79. All for arthritis. All are now free of prescribed pain relief and much happier and healthier. It is important to know what you are doing regarding dosing and to be careful not to buy "skunk" or altered product which can be very bad for mental health etc. I find it outrageous that I am forced to buy something that transforms my health and that of my elderly relatives from drug dealers, albeit very nice, polite and sympathetic ones. The man I buy from says over 60% of his clients purchase for pain relief or self medication from, for example, ptsd or alcoholism recovery.

I pretty much echo Lucilles experience, a medical condition makes me more prone to drug side effects eats too, so I had a real hard time with the many prescriptions tried over the years. Cannabis (& vitamins to correct genetic based deficiencies) have been a game changer for me too.

You are lucky to access it legally, many of us try & fail with the NHS & a friend who took the oil for her cancer, the oil that shrank tumours & kept her alive for 5 years more than the 3 weeks she was given to live, paid £2000 pm for a private prescription, so wrong when most can't afford that
