Non-dissolvable stitch woe

Hello

I had a mole removed on my arm last month and the stitches removed just before Christmas. This morning I noticed a piece of white thread around 0.5cm long sticking out of my leg near the scar. It must be a piece of suture. I grabbed my tweezers and gave it a tug but no luck.
Any advice on what I should do? Don't know whether I can leave it or if it has to come out!
Thanks

Sorry, I meant sticking out of my arm obviously!

I'd cut it flush with the skin whilst holding it under as much tension as you can, it should then disappear and allow the skin to heal.

If it's white, it'll almost 100% be undyed vicryl or equivalent, which is absorbable and will eventually be gobbled up by your phagocytes.

@FixTheBone thanks for your advice, I did what you suggested and the skin is healing well now. Just waiting now for the lab results!

My cats had this (after being spayed)... it disappeared on own.
