Bartholin’s burst internally

Hi, please can I ask for a bit of advice? I’ve had a small Bartholin’s cyst for a couple of weeks - it never grew terribly big, maybe the size of a small pea. It was only painful when I wiped. Tonight I tried to pop it because it felt like it wanted to and I felt it go but nothing came out so I think it burst under the skin. Now I’m having petrified thoughts about sepsis, etc. Can anyone advise me on what to do? I’ve looked online but can’t find anything. Thank you very much.

It'll probably just absorb. I have a condition that causes abscesses in my groin, often they just vanish after lingering and are all ok

Thank you. Yeah, after a panicked call to 111 and paying to talk to a doctor online, your answer lines up with theirs. Apparently, too, because I didn't have any symptoms of infection before it burst, it probably wasn't even infected, which makes it even less worrying.

Probably just in a heightened state of panic these days.

Thank you so much for taking the time, I'm grateful. I wish a wonderful 2022 to you and your groin.
