Burping and pooping a LOT 😩

Sorry if TMI!!

Last few weeks I’ve been burping a lot more after food times, burping several hours after eating lunch or dinner.
Not polite ladylike discreet ones either!!

I’ve also been spending a lot more time on the toilet pooing- different textures m and at all times of day and night so no set routine.

I’m mid 40s, overweight and currently not very active with an ok diet…. Googled it and will try out the suggestions but just wanted to know if anyone else has this and managed to control it?

Thanks!

Could you give us an example of your normal diet ?

MoFro · 30/12/2021 00:35

breakfast - toast and jam or eggs
Lunch - usually left over dinner
Dinner- chicken wraps, or with rice, takeaway a couple of times a week
Snacks - too much chocolate and biscuits in evenings

@Rivermonsters just typing that out highlights that’s a terrible diet!!

I’m aiming to lose 3-4 stone over the next year so will be overhauling diet massively - doing intermittent fasting

I'd say it's down to your diet personally. Cut out the crap and takeaways and see how you are then.

Could it be more sugar and booze in the run up to Christmas? See if a couple weeks healthy eating fixes it and take a probiotic for a while (symprove is good) - if it isn’t clear in a month then see the doc.

@BooksAndGin yup you’re right! Just made a start with a salmon omelette for brekkie!

@Luredbyapomegranate I don’t drink at all but do have way too much sugar and crappy fat in my diet

Never tried a probiotic so will try that, thank you x

Yep I forward the no takeaways. In my own experience, greasy food does affect my bowel movements

batmanladybird · 30/12/2021 11:14

The more you eat the more you pop

batmanladybird · 30/12/2021 11:14
