I was found to be anaemic on bloods in April 2021, I suspect other things found on bloods although I wasn’t told this as was very quickly referred on two week pathway to hospital and had a CT scan and gastroscopy & colonoscopy
Thankfully nothing abnormal was found and was advised to continue on iron tablets with ongoing blood tests
My ferritin has not hugely improved although my haemoglobin has but on bloods over last few months it’s been found I had issue with high platelets and then abnormal shaped red blood cells but that seems to be ok now
However the last two bloods have showed raised Gamma GT enzyme. First one was 86 and latest 96. Should be below 50
I’m not diabetic and I haven’t drunk alcohol for over 25yrs
My GP has said do another blood test in February to check levels and if abnormal again I’m hoping I’ll actually get some answers but if anyone has had this could you advise
