Got a long standing 'rash' thing which is getting worse. . .

It started about 6 months ago. A patch of 3 red raised rashes on my knee - which itched like mad when i got stressed. Then about a month later the same thing appeared on my upper. Last week more have popped up on my leg. They never go away but occasionally get angry!! I don't think allergy as they are in weird places, and don't itch all the time. What the hell are they??
Rather not go to GP as a) I can't stand him, b)it's a pain with the 2 Los and it's hardly life threatening.

try lots of moisturiser - diprobase or E45 are good - put it on three times a day for a while and see if that helps

I get these random patches sometimes and they seem to be irritated dry skin

ok will try. I do moisturise after every bath, but I'll do more.

Do you use scented moisturiser? I find that sometimes scented shower gel etc that it gives me these patches.

I've changed the bath stuff a few times with no change for better or worse. I've even used the kid's Oilatum stuff (and at the price of it I could have treated myself to Molton and Brown!)I moisturise with Nivea Soft. I suppose I should really go e45. Do you think cocoa butter would be as bad?

Really don't know I'm afraid - never used it!
