Covid and mucus

Anyone else had covid and was very mucusy? I keep feeling it in the back of my throat and when swallowing it's awful, I've tried inhaling, honey and lemon all sorts, is this normal with covid? I always thought covid was dry cough and things like that but I'm aware the new variant causes different symptoms aswell! Just curious on peoples experiences or advice and tips?

I was going to post this exact same.

Me. Had a positive about 2 weeks ago so out of isolation now. Loads of catarrh at the base of my throat and it's a real effort to clear it. It's annoying and wearing!

I tested positive 3 days ago and I can feel it dripping at the back of my nose down my throat, can feel it when I'm drinking water aswell, it's horrid! I was wondering because the fact I can't bring it up and swallowing it was making me worry if I would get covid worse :( Do you still have it now? Can I ask how long did it take for you to get a negative test?

I do still have it now but it's more of an irritation than anything. I got a negative LFT on my last day of isolation - it was positive two days before that, but didn't test the day between those as others household members are positive so seemed little point.

I am however really tired and have no energy at all.
