Is it normal to be swallowing mucus constantly with covid? I'm on day two and I'm very mucusy today especially on swallowing...does this mean I'm likely to be sick worse? I'm very anxious regarding this coronavirus :(

I'm just getting over covid (day 10) and the mucus and coughing has been my only
Symptoms. It's really awful. My ribs have started to hurt and ache from coughing too much and I'm starting to wonder if I need antibiotics.

I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope you feel better soon, I believe covid can last up to 14 days but I did read if you don't feel better after 7 to give docs a call, I'm guessing the mucus is a normal part of covid then?

I tested positive on Friday and I've been getting congestion, chest feels a bit heavy and tight and in coughing up phlegm, I think it probably is a symptom for some people. Don't yet have the muscle and head/back aches that some people have reported, and a tickle in my throat is the most annoying symptom.
