Wondering if anyone has any helpful tips for earache?
I've just woken up with it and the inside of my ear and along my jaw is throbbing ☹️
I've taken ibuprofen, paracetamol and have put some warm almond oil in it but it's still throbbing.
Not what I need when I'm up with a very excited toddler in a few hours!

Don’t put anything in there.. don’t scratch even if you want to.. you’ll make it worse.. I’ve no suggestions other than call 111 if it gets worse..

Advice given to my then 5 yr old when she met the consultant

I would try a warm hot water bottle against the ear. May help while the pain killers kick in.

My Dd was recommended sodium bicarbonate ear drops with her ear pain by the GP and they really helped. We bought them from boots.
