Vibrating in right thigh- MRI clear, what else could it be?

I've had a buzzing sensation in the top of my right thigh for the last 2 months- long story short the GP didn't really want to know so I went private and the doctor referred me for a brain MRI to check for MS which has come back clear. My blood work revealed a slight vit D deficiency but nothing else. Private GP was therefore not concerned although didn't offer any info into what it could be.

However the buzzing sensation remains so I'm still going out of my mind with worry. It feels like I have a mobile phone in my pocket. I suffer from health anxiety anyway so feel if it's not my brain causing the problem (after losing sleep for over a week worried the mri results would come back with a tumour or ms) then something else must be- does anyone have any advice for where I go from here now? Could it potentially be my spine? I've recently got engaged and just feel I can't be excited as I'm so worried something is really wrong.

Ok, first thing to check would be-is it actually vibrating? Can you feel it with your hand resting over the area?

Have they ruled out meralgia paresthetica? This tends to affect the outside of the thigh.

Hello op. Glad your scan came back clear!

I would try a magnesium supplement and a B6 supplement (you can sometimes buy the two combined).

Lack of magnesium can cause muscle cramps and twitches.

Good luck to you Flowers

PS I am not an HCP! I just had twitching myself and my doctor recommended it!

@MrsDoraDumble I can't feel the vibrating of I place my hand on my thigh, it almost feels like a buzzing inside of my leg!
