Has anyone been diagnosed with muscular/myofascial tmjd and if so a) how did it affect you b) did anything help?
Was diagnosed in early 2020 and my pain when eating so have been on a liquid/baby food diet which isn't much fun. Any advice would be very appreciated!! Have tried physio as per dentist advice but not much success

Yes though I was diagnosed in USA when I was working out there in 05. It was complex to get any treatment apart from painkillers due to working in remote area.

I did go through an only being able to eat v flat things for several months but it did ease and got better on its own. Mine was related to a botched root canal about a year before.

It's really shit.

Thanks for the reply @pastypirate. Yes it I absolutely shit! Glad you're better now. It must have been quite scary being in another country with not much help due to being remote. Was your pain one sided or both?
