Anyone else had this super cold? Sinus pain is horrible, sneezing, runny nose, hot and cold, stomach pains and just generally awful! Nothing much is helping. Two PCR’s and daily LFT’s negative. Any advice?!

I think I have this too. Very blocked but also runny nose, shivers, temp of 38, bit of a sore throat, now developed a cough. Also tummy ache and intermittent diarrhoea/nausea.
Would have put money on covid but several negative LFTs and negative PCR.
It's horrible though - hope you feel better soon OP.

I had this, spent nearly two weeks in bed, the aches were awful, but the sneezing was on another level.

I think I’ve got this. All LFTs negative. I’ve had to resort to Night Nurse in the hope of getting some sleep. My runny nose was so bad I had to put a folded towel under my face

I just came on to see if there was a thread on this! Negative pcr today which was a surprise as I was pretty sure I would get a positive. Hot/cold, stuffy runny nose, scratchy throat and dodgy tummy. On day 3 now, Hoping to feel better in the morning as it’s my Dads funeral on Monday

Most of us in the house just had this... first dd, then my bro, then me and now my mum... I managed to curb it with first defence. Only lasted 2 days thankfully. Dd and my mum had it the worse. Dd still ate me out of house and home though 😂

That's amazing it only lasted 2 days. I am 5 days and counting. Judging by another thread on here some people have had it for weeks 😩

So sorry to hear lots of us suffering! It’s definitely a lingerer! I never get poorly really but day 4 and I still feel rough. It’s the sinus pain, burning up nose when I breathe in and hot sweats!

Made me wonder if it’s a new strain of Covid that the tests don’t detect?! Isn’t that what coronavirus essentially is anyway?! It’s just a virus that causes a range of symptoms from a common cold to alot worse….

I've had this too since Thursday, awful blocked nose, constant sneezing, terrible sinus pain. DD2 had a much milder version last weekend till Tuesday but I don't seem to have got away so lightly.

Also tried the First Defence but didn't seem to work.

Negative PCR and daily LFTs too, had Covid all last Christmas and New Year so feeling very anxious.

Cheesy so sorry for your loss.

My household has this. LFT and PCR negative. Non productive dry constant cough will not let me eat or even go to the toilet in peace. Sinus pain, all bunged up. one day of fever, tiredness, feeling very run down. No energy to do anything or even enjoy this time of year. No fever now. Heart rate feels higher. Hoping to be better for Christmas Day!

I refuse to. All three of us did a PCR and I actually did Two as I had postal one I thought wasn’t received. There’s more than just Covid out there so I am pretty sure it isn’t!

I have a burning neck too which is weird, the back of my neck comes and goes.. very random!!

My and family all had this had this, with mine starting 1st November, and i'm still struggling with it now. I do 2 weekly LFTs, and done PCR's, always negative.

I've ended up with a blockage in my nose and still coughing with sore throats 😭Been prescribed something to help, hopefully starts to work soon.
Feel like i'm never getting over it!

There was a lot of this in my area in October, most tested negative for Covid but some did test positive, from the same family. My bet is that it is connected to Covid

I had it in October, first as a head cold with a few gastro symptoms, then it came back 10 days later as a chest infection, all LFTs negative, Lost my sense of taste and smell both times too. Can't help wondering......

I'm still feeling awful. Fever has come back and now on second day of antibiotics. Face is aching, jaws are aching. Snot is dark yellow/ orange and phlegm is green. Cough won't let me sleep. Stomach does not know what to do with itself. Just waiting for the antibiotics to kick in. Doc said phone back at end of the week if not getting better. Hope we all get well soon 💐

Just had this for the past two weeks, finally going now antibiotics are starting to kick in. Flu symptoms for the first week followed by a week of excruciating sinus pain. It's horrible! And definitely needs antibiotics.

Got this now except I'm 32 weeks pregnant along with it and it's absolutely draining the life out of me. I've never ever been so poorly with a cold just crossing everything I'm better in the next couple of days as my poor toddler is going stir crazy in the house. DH and him had a cold but not like this, it seems to have hit me a lot harder than them.
