Are you sure it’s flu? Did you do a PCR test? You should turn a corner soon, have hope Flowers

You should begin to feel much better within a week or so, although you may feel tired for much longer

SoSickOfItNow Yes, I'm Covid-free. I know it's the flu jab causing this.

How do you know it's the flu Han causing it? i think it's unlikely

UnmentionedElephantDildo · 16/12/2021 22:59

It takes 2 weeks for the flu jab to confer protection. So it sounds as if you caught flu before that couid happen. Which is jolly bad luck.

Flu rarely lasts longer than 2-3 , so you should be in the home straight now

The flu vaccine isn’t a live vaccine, it cannot give you flu. It takes up to two weeks for immunity to kick in so you could still get flu.
Unless you’ve done a PCR test you don’t know it isn’t Covid.

The vaccine can leave you with a temp, aches and feeling under the weather for a couple of days but the side effects are short lived. They do not last 9 days.

When I had flu I felt so ill that I wouldn’t have been on SM.

You can have milder flu. You can have asymptomatic flu. Not everyone with flu is unable to lift their head off the pillow.

OP, you said you’ve got flu, and that the jab is causing your illness. They can’t both be true, either you have flu (possible, the jab doesn’t work immediately) or the jab has caused side effects. It can’t have caused actual flu.

tadpole73 · 17/12/2021 08:19

Thanks. I had 3 days of "not lifting my head" and it's my 10th day of feeling weak, hot/cold, phlegmy etc in total.
I've done a PCR which came back negative.
Had COVID in Sept, but far milder than what I'm experiencing now.

The flu jab needs more than 6 days to work which is why I had mine early sept. It’s a dead virus so it’s impossible to catch flu off a flu jab same as a dead dog can’t bite you.

If you book online you need to start checking pharmacies websites early august.
