Bubble popping feeling in chest / ribs?

Has anyone ever had this? It's a sensation I've felt probably 2 dozen times throughout my life but several times over the last couple of weeks. If I breathe shallow it's like it can be managed, a bit like a stitch. But you need to take a good full breath in to get rid of it, the sharpness intensifies and the bubble "pops". Usually under the ribcage.

Has anyone had this before? I'm 37.

Hey. It’s called precordial catch syndrome. Harmless but briefly painful. It’s made me scream before.

It's bloody painful! It's a big relief though when that bubble pops. Very satisfying 😌

Yes! It’s weird, like clicking your fingers or something. I notice I get it more when anxious.

Does it feel like something is catching on your lower rib? I get this when I bend over or stretch. It's so odd!

I get this too. It really freaked me out the first time it happened, but having read various forums it seems quite common.
I agree though, the pain is horrendous! I get it when bending forward reaching for something. It feels like a rib is overlapping.
