Asthma nurse has suggested I have steam inhalation with this alternative treatment & drinks with hot &honey. Ive got to try and shift tons of built up phlegm on my chest , as this upper respiratory virus has been going on far too long.

Shall I give it a go anyway despite its sell by date or will there be harmful things in it now!!!!!!????

I seem to recall this unusual suggestion in the far reaches of my mind , but not sure it will work as have been trying all sorts ;

fresh grated ginger in hot water with manuka honey
Manuka honey by the tbsl
cough meds
tons of oranges
orange peppers

and nothing has helped yet gggrrrrrrrrrrrrr [fed up emoticon]!!
