Rash type thing between breasts... would it be worth calling GP?? Photos

For the last 2-3 months I've had this patch of red skin between my breasts, sort of near cleavage almost.
I was just treating it as dry skin and basically ignoring it but this morning I was in the bath and I noticed that there is a purplish line running through it and now I'm worried.
It gets itchy sometimes and it hasn't spread at all. It's just confined to this one area.
Now I'm panicking incase it's breast cancer.
What do you think from photos? Should I call the GP??

is the skin shiny? Try a tube of the sort of cream you get for athletes foot as it could be a kind of yeast/fungal activity. Try the cream before going to GP to be honest

Looks like thrush. It’s quite common. Do you wear underwired bras? I would get some caneston and try that but send a pic to your GP or ask a Pharmacist to see what they think.

Most likely fungal but it's always worth checking with the GP just in case.

Is the rash and new line in a natural fold of the skin? Could it be a sweat types rash?
Either way, I would suggest getting it looked at by your GP. Any non resolving changes in breast tissue or skin should be checked

That looks like intertrigo - it's a fungal infection where skin gets sweaty.

You can buy clotrimazole cream from the chemist.

Wash it frequently, pat dry, as much time braless as possible and clean bra every day.

Thanks everyone, it isn't shiny. Just kind of flaky around the edges. I usually do wear underwired bras yes.
