Need help with what I can take though as I seem to have forgotten all the other times ive been in pain Haha
330 this morning I look paracetamol
7:30ish I took paracetamol and ibuprofen
1ish after being to dentist and getting antibiotics I took that and paracetamol and ibuprofen again

What can I take now. can I do paracetamol ibuprofen and codeine all together? I swear I've taking them all together before after my csection but I really cant remember

You should be able to buy paracetamol/codeine tablets over the counter, only for short term use though. You can't just buy codeine on its own! Fine to take them altogether but best to space them out to get more coverage. Ibuprofen is usually good as it reduces inflammation.

In boots you can buy slow release ibuprofen. You take a dose in the morning and evening and the effects are meant to last longer.

Are your wisdom teeth through the gum or impacted? My troublesome impacted one had the little flap thing over it which food would get stuck under... you can buy little interdental toothbrushes that you can use to thoroughly clean around it with perhaps a mouth wash. I always used corsodyl but I found it to be really strong and kill my taste buds, so I tried oraldene which really helped and also perhaps peroxyl - both can be bought in boots.

For the face and eat pain, try using a wheat heat pad - it really helps or even a hot water bottle.

Sometimes it's just riding it out. I had one troublesome wisdom tooth for years (others not too bad tbh). It caused me the symptoms you explain and severe jaw issues. It was hell. After being on the waiting list for a while I finally had it out at the hospital in the summer! I'm so glad I had it out!

I really hope you feel better soon! There is nothing worse!

Also, ice cream! 💕

Hey thanks for the reply. I just have some codeine in my house from previously painful time so thought maybe I could take them aswell. Thank you for the suggestions I've Done salt water too and that seems pretty good will defo try hot water bottle. They've said I should get it out but dont know where they would do it but guessing I would be on a waiting list for hospital then such hope these antibiotics kick in soon. How awful are wisdom teeth aye. Keep feeling like something's stuck in my throat.
