Hi, I have been getting thrush for about 4 years (since I began sleeping with my boyfriend) we have both been treated countless times and I have done long courses of fluconazole (two six month courses) I have had thrush since October this year (2 months) and I have gotten swabs to confirm this, I have treated it with fluconazole and Canesten pessaries but the thrush won't go away. Could I have treated the thrush so many times that I am now resistant to the medicine? What can I do?

Do you have a coil in? I had continuous thrush with a coil but when I took it out the thrush disappeared within days.
