Has anyone any experience of this? I went to the GP because from my wrist down, my hand went numb on Sunday evening. Today they saw me, asked loads of questions and now I am booked in for a chest x-ray tomorrow! Talk about quick.
The GP was really negative to be honest or blunt depending on your view. He said my symptoms were not to be ignored and this was just the first step in finding out what is happening. He was not optimistic at all about it "just being a trapped nerve". 
I am so grateful to our NHS to be honest, never expected things to be moving so quickly.
